My 89 year old mom keeps going to Akumal because she loves your curry pasta .I just wondered ...all the other restaurants used a 12 peso exchange rate to the dollar why you used a 11 peso exchange rate. The difference is that someone pocketed 100 pesos extra income on top of the food bill and tip.Luckily your restaurant is good and as I said my mothers favorite restaurant and she eats there 2or 3 times every trip but if she was not paying that exchange rate would influence me eating there.Thank You

just had dinner at que onda based on a recommendation. good food and pretty setting but check totaled 380, i paid 500, and received 50 pesos in change. expect that at a pemex station, not a restaurant in akumal. waiter corrected the math but made no explanation or hey i'm sorry. i usually like to decide the tip myself, not have the waiter collect 18% without my knowledge.

Hola Maribel.
Great look for you site. Que Onda Posada is a wonderful vacation experience. Also, all the meals in the restuarant are fabulous.
The MAP in this site is wrong! People show up at Nah-hah looking for you. Please check it out.

Hello Maribel!
What a great new website! We found the link on the LocoGringo website in the glowing review of your restaurant. We are looking forward to seeing you in March. We will be staying on Half Moon Bay with some friends that we met last year in Akumal. I hope your mother, Alba, is well and your kids are not giving you too much trouble. We are looking forward to your pasta and your smile.
Caio!

I am soooo bummed. We've been eating at your place for 10 years and will be celebrating my sisters 60th birthday on Jan. 27th in Akumal. When asked where she wanted her birthday dinner, without hesitation, she said she had to have the best Carbonara she's every had at Que Onda. I just realized you will be closed on that day! She will be so dissapointed that she can't usher in her 60th with her favorite meal at her favorite place.

Hello
We just returned home from a week in Akumal, and ate at your wonderful restaurant twice!
I have eaten pasta in many places around the world - and I will say that the liguinie that you prepared was simply amazing. The incredible taste and texture has inspired me to attempt to make fresh pasta here at home in Washington, D.C.
Is there any chance that you would share your recipe for the pasta? Does it contain eggs? Is there a specific type of flour you use? Any tips that you can share?
Thanks
